When I was younger, I may have gotten 2 games a year.  I always read gaming mags and dreamed about playing the games I couldn't play.  Now, I'm like a grown man that can afford to buy all the candy in the candy store but I just don't have the appetite.  Just naming January 2012 to today (because if I go back any further, I'd kill myself):

  1.  Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus (Vita)--only played an hour. Maybe less.  Didn't even play Ng2 on 360 for 29 minutes.  Why did I get this game?  For the boobs?
  2.   Kid Icarus (3DS) Great game.  I'll actually finish this one soon.
  3. Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (Vita) Not a bad game.  I probably logged in 4 hours so far.
  4. Super Stardust (Vita) It got good reviews so I bought it.  Fun distraction.  Maybe I logged in an hour.
  5. Virtua Tennis (Vita) I downloaded it and regretted buying it the same second I hit "Purchase Now" on the Vita Screen. Two hours, maybe.....but I doubt it.
  6. Uncharted (Vita) Great game.  Can't wait to play more of it.  I hope I'm halfway through with it.
  7. Alan Wake: American Nightmare (XBLA) Played for about an hour.  Don' know why I got it since I had gotten Mass Effect 3 the same day.  It could have waited.
  8. Mass Effect 3 (360) Killed myself buying the game and DLC on day one.  Just started playing it seriously, today.
  9. Asura's Wrath (360): A day one purchase and a great game.  It's four hours long according to some reviewers.  I'm not even halfway through it!
  10. SSX (360): Got it on day one.  Played one race.  Liked it.  Haven't played it, since.
  11. Shank 2 (XBLA):  Got it on day one.  Played one level.  Liked it a lot.  Haven't played it, since.
  12. Final Fantasy XIII-2 (PS3) Preordered it!  May have played it for four hours.  I hope I did, anyway.
  13. Metal Gear Solid (PSN) Got it so I would have something to play when I got my VIta.  Vita doesn't even support PS1 games.  Epic Fail.
  14. God of War Chains of Olympus (PSP) Downloaded it just to port it to the Vita.  Played less than an hour.  It was an amaizing hour, though.
  15. God of War Ghost of Sparda (PSP) I got part one so I needed part two, right?  I'll play it when I finish Chains of Olympus.....which means never.
  16. Dead or Alive Xtreme Paradise (PSP) I got this game on 360 and I don't think I've ever played it.  Why did I buy it on PSP?  I fell for the booby trap!
  17. Def Jam Fight For NY Takeover (PSP) I went PSP crazy one day.
  18. Rayman Origins (360) Great game.  Cheap, too.  I should be playing it right now!
  19. Kirby's Epic Yarn (Wii) Had to get it before it became hard to find.  I played the intro.
  20. Amy (360) I used to like a girl named Amy so I bought this game.  What the fuck?
  21. Dark Void (360) It cost $7.  I can't walk into a Gamestop and leave empty handed, can I?
  22. Dr. Mario Express (DSi) at least it was free from Club Nintendo.  I played it for the first time, last week.  10 minutes worth, maybe.
  23. Pushmo (eShop 3DS) Awesome game!  Forgot I had it, actually.  Side effect of Resident Evil Revelations, I guess.
  24. Kirby's Dreamland (3DS Virtual Console) Good memories made me buy this game and never play it.
  25. Tetris (3DS Virtual Console) Don't I have Tetris DS and Tetris on the PSP and two versions on Xbox?  Why did I buy this?
  26. Bionic Commando (3DS Virtual Console) I always wanted this game when I was younger.  Now I have it.  I'll never play it, though.
  27. Zen Pinball (3DS eShop) a great game that got buried by other greater games.  I'll keep coming back to it, though.
  28. Advance Wars: Days of Ruin (DS) it was a game that I don't see on shelves anymore so I bought it from Amazon just to have when I need it.

That's about it, I guess.  I gotta add a few of them to my VGChartz collection.  I know I purchased well over 100 games in 2011.  Maybe 20 between November and December.  I think I finished ten of them, though.  Then again, I like to lie to myself to avoid the pain of the truth.

The only thing that stopped me from buying The Haunt and Happy Action Theater for Kinect (XBLA) was that my flash drive was in the other 360.  The only reason I don't have Journey on PSN is because I haven't turned on my PS3 since I got my Vita.  Now that Gamestop is killing off their Gamecube support, I'm going to hurry up and buy every Gamecube game I ever wanted before it's too late.

Somebody help me!
