| usrevenge said: light gaming you say? then i would say yea both those are decent assuming you have a gfx card. no need to overclock tbh, the CPU only does so much these days in games with a decent gfx card you will get 60fps max settings in SC2, which is one of the more cpu intensive games out there. if you MUST overclock, just get a aftermarket cooler. MSI is a well known brand in motherboards, it has 3 5star reviews on newegg so i would guess its ok. AMD fx series is known to be disapointing, but it is still great and doesn't seem like you would be effected, its still better then most computers in use today. plus they are easy to overclock, if you have the money though getting an intel i3 or i5 would be better. |
I would prefer an AMD processor because the last two computers I had used an Intel processor. Not that I don't like Intel, I just want to try something different.
