I didn't even notice the tanks until you said that. Now the question is, why aren't they fighting? It seems to me as if the tanks and stalkers are on the same side right there.

If you notice, the chimera are pouring out of human airborne transports in another shot as well.

 

That shot was also in the initial scans from GameInformer. At first I thought that the Chimera had simply stolen the planes because they couldn't tunnel under the Atlantic, but then I remembered that the Chimera have plenty of airborn devices of their own.

This game will be very interesting, to say the least. ^^

 Well, in RFOM the humans were trying to figure out how the Chimera were controlled telepathically.  If they figured that out, than they could potentially control some of the Chimera themselves.

The Chimera don't seem like the type to ally with others even if a greater threat surfaces.
