Dead thread revive-ed. We'll just got back home and went straight to my wii to play......... red steel. We all remember that faithful day when nintendo revealed its launch line up and seeing that red steel trailer. Then the game came out and every one called it crap. I heard that some very bad things about this wii game. Even for a launch title, i heard people say that it was a bad game. We'll time came around to see if the accusations were true and let me say that with the exception of the controls, I thought this game was very enjoyable. The game does live up the promise of being an FPS&S (the extra S is for swordplayering) though for some reason the controls just feel wonky when you try to pull of sword techniques, but the shooting is easy to master. The shooting is fun and they give you different guns and encounters so the game isn't repetitive the entire time. The story is actually very fun, not ground breaking but it keeps you interested to keep you pressing forward. The characters are forgetable because almost everyone is a stereotype but it just adds to the humor. all in all, this is a very enjoyable game that even if you heard terrible things about it, if you can learn the controls, you will enjoy this title.
I got this game for $4 and it was defiantly worth them and makes me want to play the sequel now(9/10)
You thought right I did buy more used games, but I also preordered Xenoblade so I think that should even out my evilness.
