the 680gtx only uses like 200w of power, the cpu another 200 or so, HDD plus mother board and fans won't use more then 200w, which means your fine
corsair makes awesome PSU's so your fine.

it's a great PC but way overkill for most games.

It depends. If that 27" Asus monitor is 2560x1440, he needs every bit of power of that GPU, but if it is 1920x1080 then yes, an GTX 580 is enough.

its actually a GTX 680 with 28nm Kepler chip

Peak usage sits around 175watts and 195watts with turbo boost overclock

at max it can go upto 225watts

Sorry if what I posted wasn't clear.

What I ment to say is that you don't need a GTX680 to play modern games at 1920x1080, a card like the GTX580 is enough. But if you play at 2560x1440 (assuming it is 16:9), then a GTX580 is not enough, you need the GTX680 to have smooth framerates.

I read the GTX680 on your OP, that's why I said it was a very nice build.

Please excuse my bad English.
