Luckily if you want to play these at higher resolutions, the PC Silent Hill 2: Director's Cut and Silent Hill 3 still work just fine on Windows 7. When they announced this HD collection, I dusted off my PC copies and installed them to check if they still worked and they are fine. Even with a moderate PC you will have no problem hitting a decent resolution like 1600x1200.
Pity about this port though. I mean... how can they mess up fog of all things.
