No it's fine, you should never form your opinion based on ONE reviewer. Besides, you should, as a reader, READ the review instead of looking at the score so you can understand WHY they scored it as they did, what they liked about it, what they didn't, and whether you agree. What one person values is not what another will always value. Some people rely on multiplayer, while others don't think it should be factored in. Read the review, see what they say about it, and form your own extrapolations based on more than just the score :P But I agree, game's pretty divisive. Even I'm torn about it. great idea, great abilities, great options, you could argue great replay value...but clunky controls, short game, poorly told plot (for the most part), and the game is jsut so short. It's a half and half thing for me. **PS** I'm on my fifth playthrough of the game and I've only got 2/6 of the endings. getting the different endings is tough, not gonna lie. |
Heh I'm a weird person who watches lets plays vs reading reviews to gauge how I'd like something. I can be told the atmosphere of a game is tense because of factors x, y and z but I feel better if I can watch a bit of a game being played and see how the audio and visuals resonate with me first. I miss the prevalence of demos being released a lot since they are usually my other/ better way to figure out how I feel about a game. I mean I loved the look/sound of touch my katamari but the demo let me find out that the gameplay just didn't click with me like i thought it would. I may give it another shot someday but for now it's in my " not interested" list.
Sumioni taunts you to keep playing with the promise of a better ending lol.
BTW how are you finding the rub the back of the vita to get more ink gimmick ?
