If it was easier for them to integrate into european society, maybe they wouldn't be such a burden. The exeperience in Brazil(where I live) and US shows that it's when the imigrant becomes part of the country, instead of an ethinic group temporarily living in there, that they stop being a burden and start to contribute. Of course, many of this immigrants don't want to integrate, but this don't change the fact that Europe needs more people.

BTW, to intervene in personal behaviour is way more difficult than to respond to the problem of immigration. So to say that people should reproduce more, is true, but at the same time inocuous.
