I will add one point (more of a question than a point), is it possible that some races are more genetically predisposed to retaining fat? After all, black people (the largest minority in America) have more recently left an area where food is scarce. White Europeans have had a steady supply of food for hundreds of years, now. Even before the industrial revolution, there was an agricultural economy. I mean, the reason behind the difference in skin colour is down to the sun (I think), so maybe this might have an effect, as well. I could be chatting complete shit. I'm just putting a couple of observations together. I'm now going to sit and wait to be proven wrong. |
It's also part due to genetic. Some people simply gain weight easier than others.
For me, it's difficult to gain weight and I eat bacon and cheese quite often.
I don't drink pop at all though. So, no sugary drinks.
