Another person here with 3DTVs in our house, with Sky HD, PS3s and all the rest... never once used the feature. Not just me, the whole household.
My dad only bought 'em because he wanted sets with a thin-frame border (this - http://www.johnlewis.com/231222451/Product.aspx - btw). Honestly, the best thing about the set is the Youtube app...
I dislike 3D content in the cinemas, too. I hate having to wear glasses, and I hate the way films are made "for 3D", as in, the 3D is a major feature of the film. It would be like having everybody wearing multi-coloured coats just to show off that it's no longer black and white. Pointless, and distracting.
