I have got a new job! / What is your job and how much money do you make?

[2000cc]

Congrats on the job

I'm a (professional) perception researcher at a university. Currently contracted doing studies on a Russian Mnemonic (A person who can recall almost everything they have ever heard, there are about 10 left in the world so we are working very hard as this ones time is very expensive) to follow up on a previous study linking the amount of brain functionality when viewing a piece of art (or story or even game) directly to background knowledge. Hard to explain in a sentence, but hope that gives an idea

salary is not great, $30k for 4 months work, But I'm a trust fund baby anyway so dont have to work (and only normally work every other year). Its good because it means I only ever have to work jobs that are intersting enogh to justify my involvement and keep me from getting bored of the slacker life (not to sound like a total poor little rich girl or anything)
