Not really, I beg to differ.  USA would just have to go Fascist and declare all debt null.  Would this hurt their currency?  Yes, but they could just pump out military goods (aka WW2).  In the end it doesn't matter how much money you owe when you show up with tanks and planes (aka Germany, WW2).


And what happened to the so-called advancement of civilization? What you expressed above is nothing more than the degredation of a nation to a metaphorical barking dog. Shameful.

Sadly, that is the way I see the USA going.  I mean USA could make some real changes and actually balance their budget/start making surplus but that would require politicians to actually have some balls to go after the main culprits military, medicare, and social security.
