I bought it last night and it is amazing. I'm glad I didn't watch any game play videos as it exceeded all my expectations. The visuals are breathtaking and mysterious. Moving around is wonderful and gracious. Journey visualizes exploration and discovery at its best. While playing I felt the same sense of wonder as I did when watching Spirited away for the first time.
Unfortunately I didn't have the time to finish it in one sitting and now I feel truly sorry for the lonely wanderer I left behind last night. I tried to say farewell as best as I could although I didn't want to.
It is best to go into this game without knowing too much about it. Journey comes with that feeling of discovering something new which is missing from so many games nowadays.
