The Blu-ray player is much lower in price now, so the incentive to get a PS3 just for the Blu-ray player is less likely. Blu-ray is in no way a hindrance to video gaming on the PS3 but a very suitable add-on. I have so far only watched one Blu-ray on the PS3 and that was Senna.
