In my opinion, while the political left consistently enacts (or protects) legislation which makes the lives of marginalized individuals in visible minority groups worse the primary driving factor to this isn’t racism; it is the unfortunate side-effect of prioritizing good-intentions over outcomes. At the same time, the political right is constantly called racist because they are unwilling to abandon reason to endorse these well-intentioned poorly reasoned laws.
