Right now I'm just sad that Americans haven't heard of the Tragically Hip. They are absolutely amazing.
I have some American friends with great taste in music, and they love other Canadian bands like Rush, The Arcade Fire, etc. but none of them have heard of the Tragically Hip. It boggles my mind how [what I would consider] the 2nd best Canadian band (after Rush) has stayed under the radar in America.
