@Sal.Paradise: Autovista and Photomode are two completely different things.

From the Digital Foundry article:

Autovista:
Another stand-out addition designed to get the most out of Turn 10's modelling work is the introduction of the new Autovista mode. The basic idea of being able to check out high-quality CG versions of the game's vehicles might not sound too exciting (we saw something similar in terms of the basic concept back at the launch of the Xbox 360 in Project Gotham Racing 3) but the execution in Forza Motorsport 4 is really rather special.

Why are you posting that?
|
Neither photomode nor autovista are representative of gameplay, and are pretty useless for any sort of graphics comparison. They are both post-processed and prettied up modes in each respective game. Believe me, I'd love to use photomode as an indicator of PS3's graphics, because it's mind blowing. But I am not using it because I know it is not a valid comparison.

You can interact, walk around in Autovista, so yeah..its still part of gameplay.
|
Ahaha! So it doesn't matterif the cars are prettied up CG models of what you'll actually be racing, because you can...walk around? i.e. rotate a camera angle? Now you're just embarassing yourself.
You can rotate the camera angle in photomode as well. You can also take shots and move around in the interior of cars through an exploit. I'll link you to proof if you want, if you want to call me out.
They are both modes with prettiued-up 3d models of cars in the game. Simple as.
