The Only thing that can make any device worth of purchase at ANY price are the GAMES... And Sony held this event for present games, Apps and functions that could make people, interested or not , purchase the system... Is just to wait and see, they are still promoting the system and supporting it...

That's my point. If this event was mean't to entice people to purchase the system, then it's done a poor job. By the way, I'm actually one of those people who think Vita doesn't need a price cut, only great games to sell the system.
