Obviously, it all comes down to the experience you´re having with the games.
To me, the best time I had with videogames was in the 4th and 5th generations, mainly with the SNES and PS1 (and the N64, but to a much lesser extent).
This gen, I ended up getting all 3 home consoles, but what I mean is, my first time playing all the SNES/PS1/N64 gems was a far better experience than my first time playing all the 360/Wii/PS3 gems.
Next gen I´m no longer getting all 3 again, I´ll stick with two home consoles and that´ll be enough.
In a nutshell, the 90s was indeed gaming heaven as far as I´m concerned.
