Why should the US government care what happens in an impoverished African nation over run by corruption, poverty, crime and run by armed militia. African and Middle Eastern nations have had a bloody past of civil war and they are often ruled by tyrants or dictators.
Uganda has had a brutal history of conflicts and civil wars. Uganda was previously ruled over by the brutal dictator Idi Amin during the 1970s who was responsible for the genocide of half a million people.
