America and Europe have done nation building all over the world. It never works, ever. The only two successes have been Japan and Germany, which were already advanced cultures. The other thing is, it's about a movement of change, from within the global community.

About people getting stabbed across the street, we don't have those here very often. However, if I were to go to the states to help, all you arguments would be applicable to me in that western ambition too. It begs the question: Are those simply excuses for not lending a hand?

I believe so.

Its not a movement of change its a movement of white people trying to feel better about themselves. Outside aid only makes them dependent on us. Look at the history of colonization- roads were built, schools were built, hospitals were built. Now they are all gone, and the Chinese are back to try it again.
