I know that's a huge improvment, but I never looked at my Ipad and though... gee, it surely could have more resolution
I miss design and non-numerical changes. It's the same interface since 2006... that's what bugs me most! Windows 7 is already fantastic (I also have a HTC Titan) and 8 is looking even better interface-wise, and IOS is the same for another year.

It hasn't changed? http://www.theverge.com/2011/12/13/2612736/ios-history-iphone-ipad
Windows still has the same basic design since what Windows 95? Small slight differences, but still it's pretty much the same which is why it's easy for users who've used previous versions to jump right in. Windows 7 is nice, but I would've been happy still running WinXP myself. I actually didn't want to move over to XP from Win2K way back and it was a long time before I did.
I thought the same thing as well when I used my ipod touch 3rd gen. (same screen as the iphone 3g/3gs) and then I got my iphone 4 (first retina display) and I was blown away by how good the screen looked. Now when I look at my gf's ipod touch (same 3rd gen. model) it looks...wow 0_0 I thought my old iPad 1 screen looked pretty good as well, but I'll most likely be blown away again once I get my hands on the new iPad.

By "Windows 7" VicViper actually means "Windows Phone 7", unless that HTC Titan name dropping isn't supposed to make sense.

Yes, thank you. I'm talking about the metro interface that's the basis for WIndows 8 and xbox dashboard. That's the one that changes a lot of established conventions. I don't know, when I look at Ipad it still looks like my first Iphone, back in 2007, which was a thing from god back then, but not anymore - but now on WP7 I have fun just by sliding screens you know?
