i wasn't saying that things didn't improve for humanity from technology to rights to other but i was just pointing towards a few good things like

10. A child only needs dependence for so long as they need to be. A woman was expected to be dependent for life. In fact, divorce or widowing would often leave the woman unable to remarry because of stigma, and live alone by themselves until they run out of money. Furthermore, a child gains abilities as they grow. A woman in a dependent relationship can only have a certain amount of abilities. When the man is gone, what is the woman supposed to do? They are not trained for any skills. In India, on average, the male starts learning life skills and ablities very early on, and a woman doesn't get a job until her late 40's! She's pretty much USELESS at that point. What great accomplishments can she acheive? She's been repressed her entire life. So, your analogy of child and woman is very bad one.

12. No, people who get with the times are the masters of the future. The new thing is to buy music on iTunes, not CDs anymore. You can get with the times, and learn about how these new ideas work, or you can keep buying tapes/cds, and never be able to understand how new technology is changing your life. It is the same with everything.
