I want to get excited, but EA is making it really difficult. The game is a year away, and they already want you to preorder their $80 digital version if you want the full game. Combine that with the fact that the FAQ makes it seem like they are trying to target the Sims demographic, and you have to use Origin, really puts a damper on things. It also doesn't make me very optimistic about them making modding simple or even possible. It has a bit of the stench of Societies with a bunch more baggage tacked on.
I guess we'll find out in the months to come.
