your most likely not going to find 2500 where im from i noticed they were all gone by august 2011
if i had to decide between the two i would go with the 2500 b/c there werent many improvements with the 3500 the cpu and gpu are still 45 and 40nm, also the deciding factor would be that with the 3500 they removed the wifi led along with the power and eject leds
