"5. They stick out too far, which takes the already small hope I had of fitting the device in my pocket (due to its size) away. I am terrified of those things getting caught on something or breaking."
I think I've heard this complaint one too many times from people who haven't actually held a PSV that wasn't bolted down to a kiosk.
