How could you possibly blame poor Luna? Just look at how cute she is!
OT: That is quite interesting, and rather unfortunate. I'd still be inclined to blame the captain at least somewhat for ignoring a warning; considering how many lives were in his hands, he should have acted with a bit more caution... but at least it is understandable why he didn't.
