Hello,I am from India.

As my country is developing and rising country.Economists talk about India playing a big role in global trade.

But if you ask me India is nowhere near what people talk about.India is kinda of a slave country. And because of this people in india are jst behind money. Our buisnesses are like the Banks of USA and other Monopolistic and fraud business

Anyways i was jst trying to get info on perception of India around the world.

So post your mind of India and indians if you know or have met any.

India: Ghandi, curry, turbans... maybe because of the president or prime minister. The people I talk to whenever I want to complain about something or simply find out about something on the phone.

The west likes to talk up India as an upcoming economical, military power but I agree that it's nowhere near that. Indians I know also said the country is mega corrupted.

In terms of global trade and status I think it's doing the right thing. Stay close to China and russia (it's cold war ally). Be western friendly. The world is changing fast and and new alliances are being drawn up in the background.

Eventually I think India will become a full member of the east's  "answer to NATO",  SCO with Russia, China and a few others.

EDit: Just read that India has asked for full membership to SCO.
