Well... Yeah, I know and I do trust you. I just strongly dislike religion overall I guess. Religion should never be used to make a political-, or in this case: Factual point, but American presidents and their minions are experts at doing just that.
I mean, I've even heard that certain schools don't teach kids about evolution, but instead teach them that God made the Earth and all its inhabitants and that's final. I hope that's not true but I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was. I feel sorry for pretty much anyone born outside of the nordic countries + UK + Germany plus a few more countries to be honest. If someone want to believe in a religion then that's fine as long as they're not forced/made to believe it since childhood. Proven facts should go before story books when teaching in schools and by parents.
Oh well... This will never be a perfect world.

We aren't allowed to even talk about it anymore. We aren't allowed to be taught it either because people take "offense" to it. We have never been taught about Religion in school. You go to Church to be taught about that. Plus, no one forces you to believe in anything. If they do, ignore them, it's your life make the decisions, good or bad, you want. Don't think America is just full of Religious "nuts." It's not.

I never said America is just full of nuts, just that christian fanatics are more common there than most places. And you can't say that "We have never been taught about Religion in school" as it's obviously different beween each state, and I was just talking about one single example.
By the way, who makes the kids go to church? The kids themselves? Nope, their parents makes them go there. They never made a choice to be christian since they acted by instinct and trusted their parents who said that God created the universe and everything in the Bible is truth no matter how little sense it makes etc, etc...
Just to be clear: I definitely don't think that you or any other christian is stupid. After all, I'm a determinist, so I'd consider all of you to be unlucky (or actually: lucky, if you'd still end up enjoying life more than I do).

It depends on the Parents, just with everything else. Parents "force" you to eat somewhere, play somewhere, shop somewhere. They're parents that is what they do. Parents can't force you to like or believe something though. That is your decision.
I was targeting that last sentence not necessarily at you but everyone who has said/thinks that.
