i think they are completely different markets.
i think a lot of those going out to buy the iPad 3 will be people who are replacing their iPad 1 or iPad2, i don't really see anyone interested in gaming buying one.
iPads and tablets are IMO products that are actually not needed by anyone, they don't do anything special, and the gaming controls are horrible.
