To leave Lionhead with the salaries they get paid to form their own studio with the manpower to make mere XBLA games with 2 year dev cycles.....

Seems like your trading down, and is kinda stupid if you have families to support. 

but you know you can get money from inverstors right? i don't know a  lot of people who opende a company only with their moeny on the bank account and if you are a well known guy in the industry you won't have problems to find investors to open a company with, let's say at least a staff for one "real" game.

Still only gonna be a downloadable title. And even then you need marketing to get the word out. Just saying they better have a plan. Probably make a great game they have planned and hope they get bought up by a big company when the reviews are good.
