The Japanese branch of Microsoft has revealed the price and release date for the upcoming Pure White Xbox 360 + Kinect Special Edition bundle. The package will have a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of 29,800 yen (or approximately $369.77 in U.S. dollars) and will be released in Japan in March 8th. The Pure White Xbox 360 + Kinect Special Edition bundle includes a 4 GB Xbox 360 system and matching wireless controller (which will also be sold separately for 4,725 yen) in “pure white” color, 3-month Xbox Live Gold Membership in addition to two Kinect games: Kinect Adventures and Kinect Sports.
The same bundle was released in North America yesterday under the name of “Xbox 360 Special Edition 4GB Kinect Sports Bundle.” It has a price tag of $299.99 and will be limited in quantity.
