Toxicspikes said: I live in the world where the people I know personally only buy a console or handheld if they buy at least two, but most of the time three or more games with it. I got my X360 with Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Kameo: Elements of Power and Perfect Dark Zero and my Wii with Wii Sports, Wii Play, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Red Steel and Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz for example. I thought that was normal everywhere, but it seems I was wrong about that. |
Sorry to disapoint you but most people buy none or just one game with the console launch... so the guys who buys two or three is the minority... eg. I have 30 games for PS3 and the actual attach ratio is 9 gamer per people... understood now.
Normal attach ratio for launch: ~1 game per person (consoles and handhelds)
Normal attach ratio after years: ~8 games per person (for consoles)
Normal attach ratio after years: ~5 games per person (for handheld)
