I live in the world where the people I know personally only buy a console or handheld if they buy at least two, but most of the time three or more games with it. I got my X360 with Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Kameo: Elements of Power and Perfect Dark Zero and my Wii with Wii Sports, Wii Play, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Red Steel and Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz for example. I thought that was normal everywhere, but it seems I was wrong about that.

Sorry to disapoint you but most people buy none or just one game with the console launch... so the guys who buys two or three is the minority... eg. I have 30 games for PS3 and the actual attach ratio is 9 gamer per people... understood now.

Normal attach ratio for launch: ~1 game per person (consoles and handhelds)
Normal attach ratio after years: ~8 games per person (for consoles)
Normal attach ratio after years: ~5 games per person (for handheld)
