What genre will dominate the next generation? (8th gen)

We could see the real rise of RPGs in this generation, with games like Skyrim being a forerunner. Sandbox-ish, but the focal point on the roleplaying more than the adventure.

I'm sure you know just forgot, but Pokemon was more than just 'big' in the 5th gen

Admittedly i've only been considering consoles in all of this. I mean, clearly sandbox games weren't big on GBA/Ngage and FPSes were not that big on DS/PSP
