Sony must push development of 1st and 3rd party games that make good use of the 2 analog sticks interface. This way, when 3DS will eventually get the 2nd stick as standard equipment, its split user base will make it weaker on some genres. Obviously the two screens already give 3DS the lead in some other games and genres, even more a good reason for PSV to be as strong as possible where 3DS is weaker and carve and possibly expand a part of the market for itself, to at least partially balance 3DS' advantages.
This obviously won't grant PSV the leadership, but it could make it stronger than expected.
My prediction if PSV succeeds to expand the portable consoles audience in a direction where it can be stronger:

DS>3DS>PSV>PSP
