For some reason, I don't like Chrome at all. I've had both that and Firefox installed side by side for two years or more but I still find myself using firefox for pretty much everything.

WHen I first used Chrome on desktop, I did the same exact thing. Then on day I just started using more of Chrome's unique features like its apps and then certain things just became noticeably better than what I had in FF. I especially noticed this site and overall web cruisin' to be faster and smoother.

Additionally, FF is a resource hog overall and Chrome has never used as much memory... but that is probably related to my experience in it being faster/smoother. Well, YMMV of course, but this new phone itegration seals the deal for me. Chrome 100% for now.

Yeah, I only use internet on my desktop PC, don't own a smartphone or tablet or anything of the sort. I use Chrome for image browsing since it is faster without a doubt but I still don't like the interface (especially bookmark handling is clunky in Chrome) and the add-on selection and efficiency (pop-up blockers, adblock etc aren't very good in Chrome). This is especially annoying on sites with lots of ads and/or pop-up's, link transfers and redirections.

Then again, Chrome is a relatively young browser and can only get better with time. For now though, Firefox covers my needs more fluently than Chrome for everyday use.

I also use Firefox still... Chrome and Opera kind of share 2nd place.

Chrome just doesn't let me set it up like I want it... In terms of loading speed it is a little bit faster than FF, and on start-up is more reliable (when I start FF and open a few new tabs FF sometimes freezes and takes about 10 seconds to respond... after that initial time though it's fine, which is a bit weird) However my overall browsing speed is faster with FF than Chrome because it's more customisable, which is very important to me using a laptop without a mouse. I have all kinds of keyboard shortcuts relating to tabbed browsing and my bookmarks.

Opera meanwhile is slow as hell for me, I don't understand how it always seemed to do well on speed tests... On VGC especially it often never even finishes loading the page for big threads (anything with lots of images or some videos)

Actually I might look into getting Chrome as near as possible to my current FF set-up now then I can ditch Opera for the times I have 2 browsers open (I did try to do this about a year ago but the options were poor so gave it up, hopefully there will be some new stuff now)
