Just Platinumed FF13-2 in 46 hours...Shortest FF I have played to 100%!

Oh it definitely is. I imagine I could have broke that record if I didn't mess around leveling up. I also had a guide at my side and I clocked out at roughly 54 hours.

One last thing. The Platinum in XIII-2 is NOT 100%, but it is very close. You still have all those items in Serenpdity to get via Chocobo Racing.

What items do you need in Chocobo racing?  I didn't bother with any items in order to get the better weapons from Chocolina. I just got all the fragments with Odin blade.

Those items are the decoration items for the monsters. There are tons of them in there.
