Kinda useless information really. The Nintendo channel also records time "played" when the games are paused.

My records don't make sense at all.

Well i'm not one to leave electronics running when I leave the room unless I know i'll be back within 5-10 minutes, so my times are pretty good. For instance of the ~205 hours of Endless Ocean 2, it works out to be about 5 hours that are added while I wasn't actually playing... and that's probably quite a high ratio compared to most of my games as there have been 2 occasions I've left it running while I went for dinner which probably account for 40-50 minutes each. The rest of the 5 hours is made up by the loading screens at the start, and any time I spend in the root menu before I start my save file.

Guess people are different. I have left my Wii powered on many nights because I forgot about it (it's not as noisy as the 360), and I normally leave it on for hours while I do other stuff.

Indeed. I have heard a few people on here mention how they leave console paused overnight.... I'll be the first to admit I am not very good at conserving water (I don't leave the tap on while brushing, but I have long showers and make sure to rinse plates/pans/cutlery thoroughly before washing up) but I don't leave electronics running, it's only recently I started using the sleep and hibernate functions on my laptop... normally I will shut down even if "just" having dinner. Ultimarely though I am probably only compensating against my sister who will be in the bathroom for half an hour while in her room the light and her TV are on.
