After seeing the features offered by Vita, I've got to say, Sony have really dropped the ball on launch. For the price that they're wanting - around £225 altogether here in UK for the console with decently sized memory card, it's just ridiculous. The interface shown in the video is poor and that welcome park is either a one big troll, or a big disappointment, aiming at young adults my ass, that was aimed at children if anything.

Combination of that with poorly supported browser (Which will be probably better after a while), memory cards, overpriced software at the online shop - despite DD becoming more prominent, lack of much compelling software in the first place, I think I'll wait until it hits a considerably lower price point before making a purchase, will just continue to casually save towards a PS3 methinks. Although Vita may have been the first handheld to catch my attention for some time, I was left disappointed, especially after this video review which demo'd all the interface features and essentially given me a tour of combination of various other systems lumped into one.

Not sure I'd get it even for £150, even if it came with 8GB memory card (the different format is beyond annoying, and the fact that there is no internal memory is agitating), if anything a PS3 is a better investment right now more than ever, can be gotten for half the price used, with already a built up software base too.
