I bet anything that at least Legion will have a very important development on ME3 if you recruited him and did his loyalty mission. Hope we can get the Geth to fight at our side against the reapers, though something tells me we won't have the possibility of having both the Geth and the Quarian, but hopefully I'm wrong xD.

I have a feeling that won't be the case. If you play through both Tali and Legion's loyalty missions and listen to their arguement. Both races feel the other is trying to wipe out the other. I had my Paragon Shepard yell at them both, and from what I read into it, they both saw the extremes of what their races were doing. Feel that if your character is highly Paragon or Renegade you could achieve something similar in Mass Effect 3 that leads to a Quarian-Geth alliance. At least that is what I'm hoping for. Bioware my have found that to be too predicatble and found a better option (in which case I'm all for that).

Both my Renegade and Paragon Shepards made possible some kind of truce between Tali and Legion, but I just don't see a Quarian-Geth alliance possible, mostly because I have a feeling that Admiral Xen of the Flotilla might actually come up with something that will actually threaten all the Geth based on Tali's father research. And since there are two pro-war admirals against one anti-war admiral on the admirality board, the odds are stacked against such an alliance.

Again, I feel that this is where you actions in 1 and 2 could really make and impact. Although I've not yet completed this bit, Tali's Pilgramage in ME1 involved collecting data on the Geth. That could turn out to support an alliance as the the game doesn't show you what the data is. There could be other factors involving other quarians in the game, such as the the one contracted as a slave on Illium, saving the survivor stranded on a remote world and helping the one stuck on Omega. Just got to wait and see!
