Sorry what? The Wii U will have onboard flash memory. Already confirmed. You do realize how small SSDs are right? Or flash chips on the board which are even smaller. Compact flash.
Also, Hard drive prices are not cheap as "bread" right now. The flood has jacked up HDD prices.
