While I don't really get the future thing, this is simply bad for new ps3 owners in Europe. BUT this is by far a smart business descision, hey it's eliminating 75 bucks of cost to the system, for a feature that within time will work perfectly, that's smart. and what's good for the late adopters is eliminating 75 dollars of cost now will allow them to lower the price alot sooner. So in the long run it's probably smart. But costomers paying full price now might not be.
