Every game has an in-game manual easily accessed from the PS menu and every one that I've seen so far is better than the in box booklet typically shipped with retail games. They're in color (most game manuals aren't) and because there's no print cost, documentation writers can layout as many pages as they want.
Considering that no one who actually games on the go carries their game boxes and manuals anywhere they go, printed manuals are pretty unnecessary for portable games.
