Average in Iceland is about 6 feet or slightly more. Looks like the VGC average is below that, so it's not too hard to believe

Actually, it's about 5'11"/181cm.

Googled it and it says 5'11.5" (5.96 feet)/181.7 cm so I came quite close with my estimate

There are other sources that report 179.8cm, 180cm, 180.5cm, etc.
