Forgot to mention a few things in my impressions:

The d-pad feels nice and is actually the only input I like on the system.

The sound quality wasn't high, about the same level as the 3DS.

The thing is a fingerprint magnet, you'll notice. I tried to wipe it off, but no good. It didn't ruin the screen quality(which i still wonder what is so amazing about it).

The contrast ratio.

If you've been playing games on a 3ds/psp/smartphone then you've probably been gaming on a LCD screen. These have particularly bad contrast ratios. Its gotten better over the years but the difference between LCD and OLED is quite clear.

Ive had a galaxy S2 for about 6 months now, and ever since ive had it, i cant stand LCD or even weaker OLED type screens. My phone even puts my pc screen to shame (and i have a pretty good pc screen samsung SyncMaster XL2370).

The colours are just amazing on OLED! Coupled with the high res of the PSV and you've got one of the best screens in the mobile space period.

So either you've already had prior experience with an OLED screen or a high end flatscreen TV, in which case the PSV's screen wont be anything truly amazing to you OR you have some sort of bias against the PSV, because if you going from a LCD screen to OLED its a massive difference. You can even see the difference on a low quality youtube video!
