The more I use the Vita OS the more I like it. If it wasnt missing all the apps that ANdroid and iOS have, I would prefer it over both. Without digging deep into VIta OS, its comes off as an OS that is as competant as iOS and Android OS. I really think Sony should be showing it off in commercials.

Vita OS has:

- a lock screen, a optional password lock screen, notifications, solid/responsive keyboard, Vita OS is very snappy/resposive (every bit as responsive as iOS), very fast boot time (way faster than Android on my Droid X2), access to a store, background downloads, multiple home screens, customizable home screens, a functional web browser (iOS and Android are better), and the top bar showing open apps, time, battery charge, and wireless connections. I am sure I am missing a few things here.

- A cool differentiator for Vita OS are the live areas...I really like the live areas for each app. Also, I like how the apps are floating bubbles, rather than static icons.

Vita OS does not have:

- Apps. The Vita OS doesnt even have an email app, at this time.

What do you other VIta owners think...Is Vita OS a solid OS (the equal of Android OS or iOS) except for the lack of the 100,000s of apps?
