Why. Miyamoto doesn't like to play games... and he creates gameplay!
And it's not hard to argue he's the greatest designer in the history of the Industry.
Writing for a bioware game/RPG in general is really just a lot like writing for a cartoon or anime. Little bit of info here, action so people don't get bored, little bit of info their, action so people don't get bored, little bit of info there, storybattle that makes sense.
