So you have pre-emptively dismissed any opinion that isn't the same as yours as uneducated?

On topic: I believe that there is much more to school than education, it's where you learn about the world. I think that the schooling system has a lot to offer that homeschooling does not. In some situations I can see why home schooling would be the better option, but I think for the majority of kids going to a normal school is a better idea.

In rural Australia, homeschools are the normal schools.  In places like Costa Rica, private schools are the normal schools.  However, in the USA, government schools are the normal schools.  Kids do far better in homeschools vs. government schools.  They learn far more.  They are better adjusted to society.  They become better people.

Feel free to disagree.  However, it isn't just about what we think is better for the kids.  What about society?  Where I live it takes $17,000 per year per student to send them to a government school.  Those taxes are highly oppressive to society and completely unfair.  Sending your children to a government school, unless you have a very good reason or homeschooling is banned where you live, is at best, creating a massive burden on your local community.  As long as you can live with the destructive decision, that is fine.  I personally don't want to be partly responsible for the elderly and the poor losing their houses and being kicked out on the street by the government.  That's what happens if you don't pay the massive taxes that government schools need to function.  The local government takes your house.  It isn't just houses, widespread government schools increase the cost of rent and many state taxes.  It is very damaging to the poorer members of society.  Do as you wish.  Live with your choices.
