1st cold war was red vs blue in the picture below. Two incredibly large powers, each with enough nukes to destroy the world several times over.
2nd cold war would be the EU and USA vs Iran. One side of which has enough nukes to destroy the world several times over, the other with a tiny economy, little power over foreign countries and essentially no nuclear power.
How are these two situations similar?
