I would say that many British would consider themselves "Christian" in the sense that they kind of believe in God, but are not willing to do prayer or go to church.

This ^

And the amount of dumb sluts, or to put it nicely, uneducated whores that go to my school and wear that damn crucifix around their neck and call themselves christian is ridiculous, I bet almost none of them have even read the bible or even know anything about christianity at all other than what they've learnt in RE. They just wear it as a fashion statement of somekind. Not that I'm christian or religious in any way, but the ignorance and stupidity of it just pisses me off.

Wait, is it cool to be Christian now? I've never seen anybody wear a crucifix simply as a fashion item xD

Isn't your belief what truly matters in the Protestant church though? You can go to church, pray and all that but it's not a requirement. If you believe in Jesus and his teachings you are a (protestant) Christian.

That's not the point. These people don't believe it because they've read the bible, are educated on the topic of religion and genuinely think it's true. They didn't come to christianity after seeking truth, fuck, most of them weren't even indoctrinated, they just wear a cross and call themselves christian because they think it makes them superior somehow or because the rappers and singers they like wear a cross.
